Go to Order ➔ Price management ➔ Price lists, or Invoice ➔ Price management ➔ Price lists and click Open or New in the overview of price lists screen.
In this screen, you can create price lists, or view and/or edit an existing price list.
A list of classifications will be displayed if you click at Pricelist (if you have selected an existing price list), Country, Currency, and Classification. From the list, make your selection and click Select.
Type the name of the price list to be created. This is mandatory.
Note: This box is not enabled if you have selected an existing price list for modification, or once the price list is saved.
Type or select the country code of the price list to be created. You can create countries at System ➔ General ➔ Countries ➔ Countries.
Type the description of the price list to be created. This is mandatory.
Type or select the currency of the price list to be created. This is mandatory. You can create currencies at System ➔ General ➔ Countries ➔ Currencies.
Type or select the classification code to link the price list to the debtors with the selected classification.
Note: The classification of the debtors depends on the Classification defined at the debtor maintenance (go to Finance ➔ Accounts receivable ➔ Maintain, select the relevant debtor, and then click Open), in the Basics tab. You can also define classifications at System ➔ General ➔ CRM ➔ Classifications.
Select the status of the debtors such as Active, Reference, Pilot, or Passive to link the price list to the debtors with the selected status. You can also select all the debtors by leaving the box empty.
Note: The status of the debtors depends on the Status defined at the debtor maintenance (go to Finance ➔ Accounts receivable ➔ Maintain, select the relevant debtor, and then click Open), in the Basics tab.
Select the type of debtors such as Associate, Employee, Bank, Customer, Division, Prospect, or Reseller to link the price list to the debtors with the selected type. You can also select all the debtors by leaving the box empty.
Note: The type of the debtors depends on the Type defined at the debtor maintenance (go to Finance ➔ Accounts receivable ➔ Maintain, select the relevant debtor, and then click Open), in the Basics tab for the Advanced mode.
Click this to search for certain items to be displayed. For more information, see Filtering items in the price lists.
Type the number of rows to be displayed in each screen. If you have set the default number of rows to 10, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, the Previous and Next buttons become available.
Click this to return to the previous screen.
Click this to display the next screen.
Select this check box to display all the items in the price list.
Select this check box to display all the items created in the item maintenance (at Order ➔ Items ➔ Maintain).
Note: If the Price lists and Sales prices check box is selected, all the items that are in the price list and all the items created at the item maintenance (at Order ➔ Items ➔ Maintain) will be displayed.
Type or select the date in which the items were created.
Click this to round up or round down (depends whether Round up or Round down was selected when the item group was created at System ➔ Logistics ➔ Item groups, in the Extra tab) the new price of the selected item. For example, if the new price for the item selected is $999.50 and round up was selected when the item group was created, the new price for the selected item will be rounded up to $1,000 once Round off is clicked.
Note: This button is enabled only if the selected item is included in the price list (the Price lists check box has to be selected).
Click this to view the price lists based on the assortment(s) of the item(s). In the Assortments screen, click New to create a price list for the item based on assortment(s), Open to view the selected assortment price list, Delete to delete the selected assortment price list, or Close to exit. For more information, see Creating and maintaining price lists for sales orders and sales invoices based on assortments.
Note: This button is available only if you have not selected the Price lists/price agreements per item group check box at System ➔ General ➔ Settings, in Order settings under the Price management section.
Click this to create a price agreement. In the Price agreements screen, click to create price agreements by typing or selecting the debtor(s) in the Debtor box and clicking OK in the Set as default screen. You can also select a debtor from the Price agreements screen and click to edit the details of the price agreement, or click to remove the debtor from the price agreement. For more information, see Creating and maintaining price agreements for sales orders and sales invoices.
Note: The price list must be saved first (by clicking Save) before price agreement can be created.
Click this to view and/or edit the selected item’s details. For more information, see Creating and maintaining items.
Note: This button is enabled only if an item is selected from the price list.
Click this to remove the selected item from the price list.
Note: This button is enabled only if an item is selected from the price list, and the Pricelist box for the selected item has a green check mark. The selected item can be deleted only if the item has not been used in any sales orders, or sales invoices.
Click this to add items to the price list. For more information, see Creating and maintaining item discounts in sales orders and sales invoices price list.
Click this to edit the price list of the selected item. For more information, see Creating and maintaining item discounts in sales orders and sales invoices price list.
Note: This button is enabled only if an item is selected from the price list, and the Pricelist box for the selected item has a green check mark.
Click this to save the price list.
Click this to exit.
