Product Update 415: JPK_VAT audit file enhanced (Polish legislation)

From this product update onwards, the JPK_VAT audit file has been enhanced to facilitate users in fulfilling the tax obligations, whereby the audit file can be generated even when there are no registered VAT transactions for the required period.

Previously, the JPK_VAT audit file could only be generated based on the VAT transactions that were stored in the VAT register.

To support this enhancement, the Create empty file check box and its date range field have been added to the VAT returns section, in the VAT returns & Invoices tab.

The tab is accessible via Finance ➔ VAT/Statistics ➔ Audit file.

The Create empty file check box is enabled only when the VAT returns check box is selected at Type, under the Export file section.

When the Create empty file check box is selected, the date range field will be enabled and you can define the date range of the required return period at this field.

Once the necessary information has been filled, and Export is clicked, a generic JPK_VAT audit file will be generated, as displayed in the following XML sample file:
