Conventions
The following conventions will be used:
- <server> this is the server on which the web server and the AppServers are running
- <progress> this is the directory in which Progress OpenEdge has been installed, for example 'c:\progress\oe10.2b'
- <tomcat> this is the directory in which Apache Tomcat (http://tomcat.apache.org) has been installed, for example 'c:\program files\apache software foundation\tomcat 6.0'
Configuration
- install Application Request Routing (current version 2.5) on the Web Server
- start IIS Manager and select the server node

- start Application Request Routing Cache

- select 'Server Proxy Settings...' and Enable Proxy

- start URL Rewrite

- select 'Add Rule(s)...'

- select 'Blank rule'

- 'Edit Inbound Rule':
- go to Tomcat serlets examples and execute 'Hello World' servlet
- remove :8080 from URL and refresh to check that ARR is working correctly
- now adjust the patter of the inbound rule to redirect AppServer Internet Adapter traffic to Tomcat:
- remove :8080 from AppServer connection information in exact.pro / WebClient Deployment -param so that it is now '-URL "http://<server>/aia/Aia?AppService=as70exact"'
