Product Updates 416, 415, and 414: VAT code 0 can be excluded in sales and purchases for SII (Spanish legislation)

The sales and purchase transactions with the VAT code 0 can now be excluded from the invoices that are due for the Suministro Inmediato de Información (SII) submission. This is applicable to new purchase and sales transactions.

To exclude the transactions with the VAT code 0, go to Finance ? VAT / Statistics ? Immediate submission of VAT information, and then click Additional criteria.

The following screen will be displayed:

In the Additional criteria screen, select the Exclude: VAT code 0 check box, and then click Close.

Note: The Exclude: VAT code 0 check box will be enabled only for the Sales and Purchases tabs. For other tabs, it will be disabled.

When the setting has been enabled, invoices that contain only the transactions with the VAT code 0 will not be displayed in the Results section of the Immediate submission of VAT information screen. For invoices that contain multiple transaction lines with different tax codes, only transaction lines with the tax codes other than the VAT code 0 will be displayed in the Results section. The amounts of the transaction lines with the VAT code 0 will be excluded from the total amount of the invoices.

In the XML file that will be sent for the SII submission, the value of the ImporteTotal tag will reflect the total amount of the invoice excluding the amounts of the transactions with the VAT code 0. Since the transactions have been excluded from the invoice, the DetalleIVA tags for the transactions will not be reflected in the XML file.

Note: Once the sales or purchase invoices have been submitted and accepted, the transactions with the VAT code 0 can no longer be included in the invoices.
