With the XML import functionality, you can easily import XML data residing in your system to Exact Synergy Enterprise. This prevents the need to create the data again from scratch.
1. Go to System/Setup/XML/Import. You will see the following screen:
2. At Topic, type or select an XML topic. This is mandatory.
3. At Division, type or select a division that you would like the data to be imported to. This is mandatory.
4. Next, at File, click Browse to select the XML file that contains the data to be imported. To validate the selected file, proceed to Step 5. Otherwise, go to Step 6.
5. Click Validate to validate the file that you want to import.
6. Finally, click Import to begin the process.
7. Once completed, the System: XML — Log screen will be displayed. You can click Show to verify if the data has been successfully imported. See the following screen as an example:
8. Once you have completed the verification, click Close to exit.
