Introduction
The Accounts Import Wizard allows you to import data from a third party system. The wizard aims to provide you with an easy to use tool to import accounts especially importing data stored in comma-separated values (CSV) format or Microsoft Excel files. The wizard also assists in mapping fields between the external source and fields used in the Exact Synergy Enterprise database. Not only that, the wizard also provides you the convenience of managing duplicate accounts before the accounts are imported.
An improvement has been made to the wizard, allowing you to import an account with more than one contact person to the system. This saves time in going through the whole import process multiple times for accounts with multiple contact persons.

What has been changed
1) More than one contact person can be created for each account by using the Accounts Import Wizard. The number of accounts or contact people that will be created will depend on the information provided in the source file used for the import process. 2) Slight adjustments have been made to the terms to provide better descriptions when existing accounts are found during the import process.

3) In addition, it is recommended to import less than 20,000 records at any one time. During the import process, a friendly message will be displayed if the import file contains a large number of accounts, which prevents the system from importing all the accounts in the file within the limit of two hours.
