The newly implemented taxonomy version 10 supports sending of VAT returns and EU sales lists to the Dutch tax authorities in XBRL format via Digipoort, from 2016 onwards. With the latest taxonomy version 10, the compliant XBRL format can be generated and sent from the VAT returns and EU sales lists upon final print via Finance ➔ VAT / Statistics ➔ Value added tax and Finance ➔ VAT / Statistics ➔ EU sales list. This feature will be available in your system when you install the latest product update. The same XBRL format can also be sent via System ➔ General ➔ Returns ➔ Send via Digipoort.
It is important to install these changes before you send your first VAT return and/or EU sales list for the year 2016.
If you file a monthly VAT and/or EU Sales list, the deadline for sending the return for January 2016 is the end of February 2016. If you need to file a quarterly VAT and/or EU sales list, the deadline for sending the return for the first quarter of the year 2016 is the end of April 2016. Before that date, you need to have the updated software.
This change is also applicable to Exact Compact.
