Importing 1099 Form for 2003

The Accounts Payable 1099 Form can be imported for clients who currently do not have the correct 2 up format required by the IRS. This attachment applies to the Progression V7.6 application for both SQL and Pervasive implementations.

You will need to download the attached AP1099.ZIP file and save to the Progression data folder that the 1099’s will be created from. Note that this may be multiple folders and data companies. Unzip the saved zip file which will extract a file APX99FRM.TXT.

Log into Progression and select System Manger, Maintain, Form Maintenance, Export/Import Forms. The screen shown below will display. Select Import, and A/P 1099’s (APX99FRM) and select the save button. Select Form 1 thru Form 2 as shown below in the additional screen shot.

Once the new forms have been imported successfully, when printing 1099’s the new forms will display in the search as shown in the additional screen shot below.
