Product Update 242: Instant Visibility of Information in Competency, Performance Review, and Target Agreement Profiles

Introduction

Profiles are a form of performance measurement for your employees and are similar to review forms, which keep tabs on the ratings, targets to be achieved, and other remarks of your employees. Improvements have been made to the competency, performance review, and target agreement profiles to provide you with full display of information when viewing the remarks filled in the profiles. With this, you will have instant visibility of the required information.

What has been changed

Competency and Performance Review Profiles

a) The text filled in at Remarks under the Profile and Performance review sections when viewing the competency and performance review profiles respectively will be displayed by default instead of being displayed only when you mouse over the  icons. For more information on the profiles, see Viewing Competency Profiles of Applicants, Viewing Competency Profiles of Resources, or Viewing Performance Review Profiles.

b) The boxes displayed for Text and Remark field types when viewing or editing the competency and/or performance review profile will be extended to a whole new row. For more information on creating field types, see Creating and Modifying Field Types for Competencies, Attributes, and Targets of Resources.

Examples of these two changes can be seen in the following screen:

Target Agreement Profiles

In the view mode of a target agreement profile, the box at Remarks under the Target agreement section will be removed. The text filled in the field will be displayed as a label. See the following screen for an example:
