Product Updates 419, 418, and 417: Reiwa era date format supported in Exact Globe Next (Japanese legislation)
From this product update onwards, the date format for the bank import file has been changed to the Reiwa era date format. This is to support the change in the Japanese year due to the proclamation of the new emperor. For the financial year 2019, the new Japanese year “01” will be used.
In the CSV file of the bank import, the date will be displayed as follows:
In the sample of a bank import dated May 7, 2019, the date consisted of the year “1”, month “05”, and day “07”. Note that the two digits will also be used for the year, for example, “01”.
