Product Update 409: Fiscal taxonomy version 5.2 now supported (German legislation)

The new fiscal taxonomy version 5.2 dated April 30, 2013 will be available from product update 409 onwards.

An additional option called Fiscal Taxonomie –2013.04.30 has been added to the Action field in the Import taxonomy screen at Finance ? VAT/Statistics ? XBRL ? Import taxonomy.

Once the taxonomy version 5.2 has been successfully imported, you can view the corresponding items in the Taxonomy screen at Finance ? VAT/Statistics ? XBRL ? Import taxonomy.

You can select the taxonomy item for the reports you are generating. When you click Open, the taxonomy will be automatically linked to the corresponding general ledgers in the Link taxonomy screen. Once linked to the taxonomy, your business financial data can be extracted in the required reporting format for your tax submission via Finance ? VAT/Statistics ? XBRL ? Instance documents.

New field added to Copy mapping screen

The Copy field added in the Copy mapping screen enables you to select which structure you want to use for the selected taxonomy version that you are copying the GL (general ledger) mappings to. This field contains the following options:

• Both – Select this option to copy all GL mappings for the GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and GCD (Global Common Document) information to the selected taxonomy version. By default, this option is selected.
• GAAP - Select this option to copy all GL mappings only for the GAAP information to the selected taxonomy version.
• GCD - Select this option to copy all GL mappings only for the GCD information to the selected taxonomy version.
