In this product update, the VAT control statement (VCS) has been improved for section B3. The described changes only apply to section B3. There are no changes for the other sections. Since product update 408, Exact Globe Next has been supporting the VCS in XML format, which is a detailed XML file that drills down to transaction level details. For more information, see Product Updates 408, 407, and 406: VCS (VAT Control Statement) in XML is now supported (Slovak legislation) and Product Updates 412 and 411: Cash-based VAT is supported in VAT Control Statement (Slovak legislation) Due to recent requirements introduced by the Slovak tax authorities on the VAT control statement XMP report, the following enhancements have been made: New field added In the VAT control statement screen accessed via Finance ? VAT / Statistics ? VAT control statement, a new amount field called Section B3: Threshold amount has been added. This field allows you to define the threshold amount that is used to determine which tag should be used in the XML file for section B3. The threshold amount checks on the total VAT amount for transactions linked to section B3.
XML file improved From April 2016 onwards, it is a requirement to display section B3 in a new format in the VCS XML file. The XML file has been improved so that it fulfills the obligations:
Error report In the existing VAT control statement screen, when you click on the Start button, the system validates the records which are based on a few existing validations. For section B3, a new validation has been added in the error report to ensure that the VAT number is available when tag <B32> is used.
