Details on system requirements check

Check 1

If you have Windows XP installed as your operating system, you should have the latest service pack (for product updates 408 and lower). For more information and downloads, see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/framework/get-started/system-requirements.

If the operating system is not supported when running the product updater, an error message will be displayed, and you will not be able to continue with the product update. 

Check 2:

From product update 416 onwards, Microsoft .NET framework 4.7 must be installed. This can be downloaded at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=55167 

From product update 409 onwards, Microsoft .NET framework 4.5 must be installed. This can be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=30653. 
Note: Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 still need to be installed with Microsoft .NET framework 4.5.

For product updates 408 and lower, Microsoft .NET framework 4.0 must be installed. This can be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=17851. 
Note: Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 still need to be installed with Microsoft .NET framework 4.0.

Check 3:

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 must be version 9 or higher. This will be installed automatically with your Exact Globe installation. This can also be downloaded at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=A5C84275-3B97-4AB7-A40D-3802B2AF5FC2&displaylang=en.
