How-to: Generating reports for fixed price and internal project overview

Introduction

This report displays the planned, approved, realized, or processed hours versus the budget per fixed and internal type project.

Requirements and prerequisites

To be able to generate reports, users must ensure the following:

• The user must have the Administrator or Report manager role.
• Settings for Reporting services integration must be defined correctly. For more information, see Defining Reporting services integration settings.

How do I generate reports for fixed price and internal project overview?

1. On the Reporting services integration: Management page, select the relevant report. For more information, see Configuring a report parameter – Reporting services integration.
2. Select the Parameters tab to configure the respective parameters, as displayed in the following: 
   
    
   
3. To add or view the report on a project card as web part, select the Show as web part check box, as displayed in the following:
   
    
   
4. Click Save to save the defined parameters and click View to see the report. The following is an example of the report:
