This screen is displayed once the Search icon in the Serial number box is clicked.
Note: It is possible that not all the columns are displayed. You can add or delete columns as required. For detailed instruction on how to customize displayed columns, see Inserting and deleting columns.
Click this to search for assets based on the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Type the number of rows to be displayed in each screen. If you have set the default number of rows to 50, then 50 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 50 rows listed, you will see the Previous and Next buttons.
Click this to return to the previous list of assets.
Click this to display the next list of assets.
Select the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.
Type a full or partial serial number of the asset to search for the asset. The Serial number is defined at the assets maintenance via Assets ➔ Assets ➔ Maintain by clicking New.
Type a full or partial code of the item to search for the asset. The Item code is defined at the item maintenance via Inventory ➔ Items ➔ Maintain by clicking New or Open after selecting an item.
Type a full or partial description to search for the asset. The Description is defined at the assets maintenance via Assets ➔ Assets ➔ Maintain by clicking New or Open after selecting an asset.
Type or select an asset group to search for the asset. The asset group is based on the Group defined at the assets maintenance via Assets ➔ Assets ➔ Asset groups by clicking New or Open after selecting an asset.
Type a full or partial full name of the resource to search for the asset that belongs to the resource. The full name is based on the Person linked to the asset defined in asset maintenance via Assets ➔ Assets ➔ Maintain by clicking New or Open, in the General tab, under the Current: In use section.
Click this to select an asset that you want to use.
Note: This button is enabled only if an asset is selected.
Click this to exit.
