Introduction

After you have converted your crystal reports from Crystal Reports 8.5 to Crystal Reports XI, you can verify that the conversions are successful by simply trying to generate the crystal reports in Exact Globe, which supports Crystal Reports XI only.

Procedure

1. Go to the directory where the converted crystal reports are stored. For example, D:\CRW11\fixrpt at How-to: Converting Crystal Reports 8.5 to Crystal Reports XI.
2. Select and copy the file. In this example, use artgrp.rpt file (Item group report).
   
   
    
3. Replace the artgrp.rpt file in the RPT directory of Exact Globe's installation directory with the converted file. For example, C:\Program Files\Exact Software\RPT.
   
   
    
4. In Exact Globe, go to the corresponding menu path to display the required crystal reports. In this example, go to System/Logistics/Item groups and click the Report button. If you can successfully generate the item groups report, then the conversions are successful.
