How-to: Installing Crystal Reports XI Runtime

Introduction

The purpose of the runtime installation is for the testing of the converted crystal reports in Exact Globe version 395 environment.

Note: In order for Crystal Report XI Runtime to function, Exact Globe must be installed.

Go to masters and find: "\\Server\masters\Internal Group Software\Office\Crystal Reports\CRW11 - For internal use only-". The "....\CRW11 - For internal use only-" folder includes:
- CRW11 installation set so that the installation of Crystal Reports XI can be performed here (for more information ,see How-to: Installing Crystal Reports XI).
- "EG_CRWXI_RunTime" subfolder contains the installation program to enable Crystal Report XI Runtime for Exact Globe.
- "EG_CRWXI_Update" subfolder contains the program to update Exact Globe targets (applications, system layer, reports, slics) to ensure that Exact Globe is running correctly with Crystal Report XI Runtime.
Go to "....\EG_CRWXI_RunTime" subfolder at your local machine and double-click the InstallRuntimeXP.bat file to begin the installation of Crystal Report XI Runtime for Exact Globe. The following screen will be displayed:
In order to update Exact Globe environment with standard targets relevant to the implementation of Crystal Report XI, go to "....\EG_CRWXI_Update" subfolder and double-click CopyRpt.bat. The following screen will be displayed:

Note: Subsequently, if you update your Exact Globe, you must repeat this step in order to keep the standard targets relevant to the implementation of Crystal Report XI.
The above screen will be closed once the installation is completed.
