This screen will be displayed when is clicked at the Item field.
Click this to search for the item codes based on the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Type the number of rows to be displayed for each page. If you have set the default number of rows to 10, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, the Previous and Next buttons become available.
Click this to return to the previous screen.
Click this to go to the next screen.
Select a warehouse to search for all items that are linked to the warehouse. If you want to display all items for all warehouses, select All.
Click this to access more filtering criteria.
Select the assortment that the item is linked to. For more information on how to customize assortments, see Creating and maintaining assortments.
Note: The Assortment fields displayed depend on the number of assortments defined at System ➔ General ➔ Settings under Item data settings. For example, if three assortments are defined, three Assortment fields will be displayed.
Select the required option to display the items with a specific status such as Active, Blocked, Discontinued, Future, and Inactive. You can select more than one.
Select the required option to display the items of a specific type such as Standard, Labor hour, Machine hour, Bulk issue, Phantom, and Contract. You can select more than one.
Select the required option to display the items of a specific attribute type such as Sales, Stock, Make, Buy, Part, Batch, Serial, and Service. You can select more than one.
Select the required option to filter the debtor that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.
Type a full or partial item code to search for the item. The item code is based on the Item code defined at the item maintenance (go to Inventory ➔ Items ➔ Maintain, select the relevant item, and then click Open).
Type a full or partial description to search for the item code that matches the description. The description is based on the Description defined at the item maintenance (go to Inventory ➔ Items ➔ Maintain, select the relevant item, and then click Open).
After defining the search criteria, click Search to display the search results.
Note: It is possible that not all the columns are displayed in the overview. You can add or delete columns as required. For more information on how to customize the displayed columns, see Inserting and deleting columns.
When you select an item, information such as purchase price, item delivery time, and extra item description is displayed. The purchase price is based on the Price information defined at the item maintenance under the Purchase/Sales tab (select the supplier and click Edit). The item delivery time is based on the Time of delivery information defined at the item maintenance under the Purchase/Sales tab (select the supplier and click Edit). The extra item description is based on the Extra description information defined at the item maintenance under the Basics tab.
Click this to select the item code that you want to use.
Click this to exit.
