Introduction

On this page, you can view a list of preventive maintenance types that have been created.

Roles and rights

To view the preventive maintenance types, function right 865 – View service preventive maintenance types is required. Users with the Service desk, Service engineer, Service planner, or Service manager role have this function right.

To edit, delete, or create preventive maintenance types, function right 885 – Maintain service preventive maintenance types is required. Users with the Service manager role have this function right.

The information in this document is based on product update 250.

How do I view preventive maintenance types?

1. Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
2. Click Refresh.
3. Select the required preventive maintenance type under the Type column.

How do I create preventive maintenance types?

1. Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
2. Click New. For more information, see Creating and maintaining preventive maintenance types for Service management.

How do I delete preventive maintenance types?

1. Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
2. Click Refresh.
3. Select the check box of the required solution code.
4. Click Delete. A message “Are you sure that you want to delete this record?” will be displayed.
5. Click OK.

Keep in mind: The Delete button is available only if there is any preventive maintenance type displayed in the overview.
