At this page, you can view the share movement records between a division and a shareholder. The movement records display the ordinary shares or preference shares purchased and disposed over time. For every transaction date, the record shows the total number of shares purchased or disposed, the total number of shares held by the shareholder, and the percentage of shareholding up to the transaction date. If you have the specific rights, you can edit the transaction records by clicking the transaction date link under the Date column in the overview of the transaction records.
Go to Financial/Setup/Organization/Divisions or HRM/Setup/Organization/Divisions, and open a division card. Under the Monitor section, click Shareholders if you want to view the share movement records from the perspective of a child division, and then click Historical. However, if you want to view the share movement records from the perspective of a shareholder, click Divisions under the Monitor section on the division card, and then click Historical.
All users can view the share purchases and disposals transaction records. However, only users with function right 62 – Maintain subsidiaries and shareholders can edit the share transaction records. Users with the General manager and Controller roles have this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to display the share transaction records based on the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Click this to update the share transaction records based on the last defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Click this to exit.
Note: The order of fields in the Criteria and General sections will be different if you are viewing the share purchase and disposal transaction records from the perspective of a shareholder or a child division. If you are viewing the transaction records from the perspective of a child division, the above screen will be displayed. If you are viewing the transaction records from the perspective of a shareholder, the Criteria section displays the Shareholder field followed by the Division and Type of shares fields in the General section.
Type or select the division to display the transaction records involving shares purchased and disposed in the selected division by the shareholder selected at Shareholder.
Type or select the shareholder to display the transaction records involving shares purchased and disposed by the selected shareholder in the division selected at Division.
Select Ordinary shares to view the ordinary share transaction records between the selected division and shareholder or Preference shares to view the preference share transaction records between the selected division and shareholder.
