Viewing Serial Item Transaction Cards

Introduction 

You can view serial/batch item transaction cards by going to Inventory ➔ Serial/batch ➔ Cards. The transactions cards show all records of inventory transactions for the serial/batch item, and contains transaction details such as; transaction date, internal and external reference number(our ref. and your ref.), inflow/outflow quantity, order number, order type, debtor name, transaction amount (debit/credit amount), total debit, total credit, and closing balance.

Description

You can filter the serial/batch numbers that you want to display. To search for serial/batch numbers, you can define one or more of the following criteria and click Search. The serial/batch numbers that match the defined search criteria are then displayed.

Search

Click this to search for the serial/batch numbers based on the defined criteria.

Clear

Click this to clear the defined criteria.

Rows

Type the number of rows to be displayed in each screen. If you have set the default number of rows to 10, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, the Previous and Next buttons will become available.

Previous

Click this to return to the previous list of results.

Next

Click this to display the next list of results.

Filter

Click the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.

Serial number

Type a full or partial serial/batch number that you want to display.

Lot number

Type a full or partial lot number to display the serial/batch numbers for items with the lot number.

Item code

Type a full or partial item code to display the serial/batch numbers that are linked to the item.

Description

Type a full or partial description to display the serial/batch numbers that matches the description.

Start date

Type or select the start date to display the serial/batch numbers that are valid beginning from and after the selected date.

End date

Type or select the end date to display serial/batch numbers that are still valid beginning from and after the selected date.

After defining the search criteria, click Search to display the search results.

Note: It is possible that not all columns in this example are displayed. You can add or delete columns as required. See Inserting and deleting columns.

Card

Click this to view the serial/batch serial/batch number item transactions and details of all the transactions for the selected .

Close

Click this to exit.
