You can define the status and the percentage of completion for an operation within a production order. By defining the status and percentage of completion for an operation, you are able to monitor the progress of operations involved in a production order.
The information in this document is based on product update 404.
Keep in mind: The Manufacturing ➔ Entries ➔ Operations control menu path is available only if you have selected the Operations check box at System ➔ General ➔ Settings ➔ Manufacturing settings.
This displays the production order number. This cannot be edited.
This displays the operation step number. This cannot be edited.
This displays the operation code of the production order. This cannot be edited.
Select a status for the operation. The operation status can be edited at any point of time regardless of its current status. For example, an operation with a current Completed status can be adjusted to Open or Released. Select any one of the following statuses:
Type the quantity of the completed item for the operation. This can be edited only if Released is selected at Status.
Type the percentage of completion for the operation. Values from “0” to “100” are accepted. This cannot be edited if Operation quantity completed is selected at Percentage complete calculation basis at System à General à Settings, under Manufacturing settings, and if Open or Complete is selected at Status.
Click this to save the defined status, and value of percentage completed or quantity completed for the operation(s).
Click this to exit.
