Intrastat return is a report on the trade of goods among European Union (EU) countries that needs to be submitted to the respective country's Central Statistical Office.
In Exact Globe Next, you can view the Intrastat data before creating the return at Invoice ➔ Statistics ➔ Intrastat by defining one or more of the search criteria and clicking Refresh. To create Intrastat return, select one or more lines and click Start.
The INTRASTAT return screen is displayed after you have selected one or more lines and clicked Start.
Select Trial or Final when creating the Intrastat return. Selecting Trial will allow you to create the Intrastat trial report where you can edit the Intrastat details if necessary. If Final is selected, the Intrastat final report will be created and the status will be set to Complete, thus, the Intrastat details can no longer be edited.
Note: An Intrastat return that has been created in the final form has a green check mark under the Completed column to indicate its completed status. A completed Intrastat return can be created again. To display completed Iintrastat return, select the Include: Complete check box at Invoice ➔ Statistics ➔ Intrastat, and then click Refresh.
Click this to begin creating the Intrastat return. The Browse For Folder screen will be displayed for you to select the location that you want to save the file. Click OK once the location is selected. A message will appear confirming the storing location of the report which has been generated. Click OK and the Print Preview screen will be displayed to provide you an option to print the report.
Note: The file format created from Intrastat return depends on the EU countries. Different file formats will be created for different EU countries. An error report will be created together with the Intrastat report if there is error found in the data.
Click this to exit and return to the Invoice ➔ Statistics ➔ Intrastat screen.
