Finance à Entries à Process

Introduction

Posting of entries is a process that records the financial facts into the system. It is one of the most important steps in the financial administration. Before you start to process the selected journal entries, you can generate a report at Finance à Entries à Reports à To be processed. For more information, see Overview of journal entries to be processed. This report allows you to check quickly and easily on entries that are yet to be processed.

How do I process journal entries?

  1. In the Process screen, select the relevant journal entry. 
  2. Click Process

How do I view, edit, or create a new attachment of the selected entry?

  1. In the Process screen, select the relevant journal entry. 
  2. Click Attachment.

Keep in mind: This Attachment button is enabled only when you zoom to a selected journal. 

How do I view, edit, or create a new note of the selected entry?

  1. In the Process screen, select the relevant journal entry. 
  2. Click Notes.

Keep in mind: The Notes button is enabled only when you zoom to a selected journal. 

How do I view the complete transaction of the selected entry?

  1. In the Process screen, select the relevant journal entry. 
  2. Click Transaction.

Keep in mind: The Transaction button is enabled only when you zoom to a selected journal. 

How do I process the selected entries?

  1. In the Process screen, select the relevant journal entry. 
  2. Click Process.

Keep in mind: A posting report is generated if the journal entries are processed without any errors. 

How do I view the entries of the selected journal?

  1. In the Process screen, select the relevant journal entry. 
  2. Click Zoom.

Keep in mind: The Zoom button is disabled only when you view the entries per journal type. 

How do I return to the journals listing?

  1. On the Process screen, select the relevant journal entry. 
  2. Click Back.

Keep in mind: The Back button is only enabled when you zoom to a selected journal.
