Opening payroll year

Introduction

To be able to perform payroll processing in the new calendar year, the new year must be opened in Payroll settings by clicking the Open folder icon. You will be able to perform post-processing entries for the future dates.

Before you can open the payroll year, you must satisfy some conditions as follows:

1. You must have sufficient network rights..
2. You must be a user in the administration role.
3. You must have the correct version in order to open the payroll year as this is payroll year dependent (country dependent).
4. You must process all payroll entries (country dependent).
5. You must have a backup (country dependent).

Fields

Year end section

Current year

This displays the current payroll year.

Next year

This displays the next payroll year to be opened.

Explanation section

In this section, a short description will be displayed when opening the payroll year.

Click this to start the opening payroll year.

Close

Click this to exit.
