Projects ➔ Projects ➔ Maintain projects
This screen will be displayed when the Members tab in the project maintenance screen is clicked. For more information, see Creating and maintaining projects. In this tab, you can obtain an overview of the details of the members related to the current project.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 421 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: The Open button is enabled only if a project is selected in the overview.
In an integrated environment between Exact Globe Next and Exact Synergy Enterprise, selecting this check box will only affect the access to projects in Exact Synergy Enterprise whereby only the project members are able to do the following:
However, in any environment, selecting this check box will still permit all the people access to the projects in Exact Globe Next as long as they have the project viewing and maintenance rights. You can define the project viewing and maintenance rights for a specific person at System ➔ General ➔ HR & Security ➔ User rights. For more information, see Overview of user rights.
Select this check box to allow only the project members to define the hour realizations for the project.
Note: By default, the following columns are displayed. It is possible that not all the columns in the overview are displayed. You can add or delete columns as required. For more information, see Inserting and deleting columns.
This column displays the names of the members.
This column displays the IDs of the members.
This column displays the start dates of the membership validity.
This column displays the end dates of the membership validity.
The selected check box indicates that the corresponding member is the manager of the project and hence cannot be removed from the project. A project manager is automatically added as a project member.
Click this to add a member to the project.
Click this to edit the start and end dates of the validity period of the selected member.
Note: This icon is enabled only if a member is selected.
Click this to remove the selected member from the project. A member who is a project manager cannot be deleted. Only the system administrator or project manager is allowed to add, edit, or delete a member.
