Generating an overview of purchase statistics

Introduction

To obtain a clear insight into the purchase statistics per item, you can retrieve an overview at Purchase/Reports/Purchase statistics. In this overview you can see the ordered quantity per item, the quantity already delivered, the corresponding purchase prices, discount received and further details.

Description

You can filter the purchase statistics per item that you want to display. To search for the purchase statistics, you can define one or more of the following criteria and click Display. The purchase statistics that match the search criteria you have defined are then displayed. A list of options appears if you click the Browse button in the Warehouse box and Supplier box. From the list, select an option and click Select.

General section

Warehouse

Type or select a warehouse to display the purchase statistics per item from the selected warehouse.

Note: This option is available only if E-Warehouse management is in the license.

Reference date

Type or select a date to display the purchase statistics until the selected date. Select All to display purchase statistics by all range of reference dates.

Transaction date

Type or select a date or range of dates to display purchase statistics per item with the selected transaction date or range of transaction dates. By default, the All check box is selected.

Note: Typing or selecting only the start date will display purchase statistics for the selected date or later dates. Typing or selecting only the end date will display purchase statistics for the selected order date or earlier dates.

Supplier

Select a creditor to display the purchase statistics per item of the selected supplier.

Display section

Show

Select Purchase units or Sales units to display the purchase statistics by the corresponding units.

Details — Warehouse

Select the Warehouse check box to display the items by warehouse.

Note: This option is available only if the E-Warehouse management is in the license.

Precision for amounts

Type the number of decimals after the decimal point for the amounts that you want to display.

Precision for prices

Type the number of decimals after the decimal point for the prices that you want to display.

Note: Only the General and Display sections are available under the Simple mode. If you click the Advanced button, the search criteria will be expanded to include the Item and Assortments sections.

Item section

Item group

Select an item group or a range of item groups to display purchase statistics for items that belong to the selected item group(s).

Status

Select a status or the statuses of items to display items with the selected status(s) in the overview of purchase statistics. If no status is selected, then items with all statuses will be displayed in the overview.

Attributes

Select an attribute or the attributes of items to display the items with the selected attribute(s) in the overview of purchase statistics. If no attribute is selected, then items with all attributes will be displayed in the overview.

Lines with quantity 0
Select this check box to include items with no quantity (quantity=0) in the overview.

Assortments section

Assortments (Assortment 1, Assortment 2, ..)

Select the assortment(s) linked to purchase items to display the overview of purchase statistics with items linked to the selected assortment(s).

Note: You can define Assortments at System/General/Settings/Item data settings.

Buttons

Display

Click Display to display the overview of purchase statistics based on the defined criteria.

Advanced/Simple

Click Advanced to expand the search criteria and click Simple to hide the criteria.

Close

Click Close to exit.
