Introduction
The Receivables report displays a list of outstanding
amounts owed to the company, grouped by debtors and dates due.
Fields
Layout section
Report
Select the relevant option to view the report with full details of the outstanding invoices or in a summary format. Using the
Details option provides you with more criteria for filtering.
Criteria section
Debtor
Select a range of debtors to be shown in the report. Select the All check box to display all debtors.
Note: This is available if List is selected at Report.
Reference date
Select a date to include invoices created before this date.
Note: This is available if List is selected at Report.
Invoice currency
Select an option to display all outstanding amounts in the default currency, or using the original invoice currency. You can also select to view only invoices of a specific currency.
Note: This is available if List is selected at Report.
Summary: Foreign currency
Select this check box to show a summary of total outstanding for each currency at the end of the report.
Note: This is available if List is selected at Report.
Exclude unknown debtor
Select this check box to exclude unknown debtors from the report.
Note: This is available if List is selected at Report.
Sorting
Select an option to determine how the report should be displayed.
Note: This is available if Details is selected at Report.
Aging
Select this check box to show the outstanding amounts classified into different aging groups based on the type of reporting date selected.
Note: This is available if Details is selected at Report.
Reporting date
Select an option to view the aging by different types of dates.
Note: This is available if Details is selected at Report.
Invoice currency
Select an option to display all outstanding amounts in the default currency, or using the original invoice currency. You can also select to view only invoices of a specific currency.
Note: This is available if Details is selected at Report.
Reference number
Select an option to determine what type of reference number will be shown in the report, either our ref or the transaction entry number.
Note: This is available if Details is selected at Report.
Group
Select an option to group the amounts in the report by different criteria.
Note: This is available if Details is selected at Report.
Additional criteria
Click this to define more criteria.
Note: This is available if Details is selected at Report.

Exchange rate difference
Select this check box to show the original equivalent amount as compared to the current equivalent amount based on their respective exchange rates.
Debtor data
Select this check box to display additional data about the debtor such as the address, contact, bank account, et cetera.
New page every debtor
Select this check box to print all debtors on a new page.
Only with notes
Select this check box to show transactions with notes attached.
Exclude unknown debtor
Select this check box to exclude unknown debtors from the report.
Compress
Select this check box to summarize all the outstanding amounts to one line per debtor per currency.
Reference date
Select a date to display transactions prior to the date selected here.
Status
Select an option to filter the customers by their status.
Type
Select an option to show only customer data or employee data or even both.
Debtor / Name / Post code / Classification / Due date
The label of this field is based on the option selected at Sorting. You can define a range to show only the selected range in the report. Select the All check box to display all debtors, names, post codes, classifications, or due dates.
Items
Select All to display all outstanding amounts or select Due to display the amounts that are supposed to be paid before the reference date.
Project
Define a range of projects to display transactions related to the projects. Select the All check box to display transactions related to all projects.
Cost centre
Define a range of cost centres to view only outstanding amounts of those particular cost centers. Select the All check box to display outstanding amounts for all cost centres.
Account employee
Define a range of debtor accounts to be included. Select the All check box to include all debtor accounts.
Intermediary
This is an additional field to filter unnecessary debtor accounts.
Scenario
Define a scenario to select a group of debtors from that scenario.
Blocked
Select an option to display only blocked amounts, to exclude blocked amounts, or to include them into the report.
Payment method
Select a payment method and only transactions using this method will be shown in the report.
Currency section
Summary: Foreign currency
Select this check box to show a short summary for each debtor and each currency for the total amounts owed.
Note: This is available when All – Default currency is selected at Invoice currency.
Exchange rate
Select the type of exchange rate to be used. Amounts in foreign currencies are converted to the default currency in the report using different exchange rates.
- Original – Uses the exchange rate that was used when creating the invoice.
- Current – Uses the exchange rate of the current date.
- Historical – Uses the exchange rate of a selected date.
Date
Select a date to use the exchange rate on that date.
Note: This is enabled if the Historical exchange rate has been selected at Exchange rate.
Buttons
Start
Click this to generate the report.
Close
Click this to exit.
