After making payment transactions, you can authorize, process, view payments for refund or collection, and view the person who authorized or processed the payment. You can also specify the search criteria so that you can filter the data of the payment that you want displayed.
The information in this document is based on product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Note: The search criteria will vary depending on the menu path you have selected.
Select the grouping method to display the data. You can choose to group by Details, Payment reference, Debtor, Creditor, Our ref., Run number, or PO/SO.
Type or select the payment date range or select All for all dates to display the data.
Type or select the invoice date range or select All for all dates to display the data.
Select the payment method to display the data. You can choose from All, On credit, Cheque, EFT, Chipknip, Collection, Cash, Debt collection or Letter of credit.
Select the transaction type that you want displayed. You can choose to view the Purchase invoice, Purchase credit note, Sales invoice, Sales credit note, Payroll, POS sales invoice, Other or All.
Type or select the resource ID of the employee who approved the transaction you want displayed. Select All for all approvers. For more information, see Selecting person.
Note: This field is available only for the Cash flow ➔ Statistics ➔ Who authorized menu path.
Type or select the date range to display the data. Select All for all dates.
Type the amount range to display the data. Select All for all amounts.
Select the type of account you want displayed. You can choose from All, Supplier, Person, Customer or Reseller.
Select the required option to view the debtor or creditor account by code or name.
Type or select the code or name of the account. If you have selected to sort for code under Account, you will see Code and if you have selected Name, you will see Name. For more information, see Selecting account. If Supplier is selected at Type, and Code is selected at Account, you can select the code range or select All for all codes.
Click this to specify additional criteria. For more information, see Defining additional criteria to display payments.
Select this check box if you want to include the allocated but unmatched payments or receipts in the overview of the results displayed.
Type or select the date range of the payments or receipts to display the data. Select All for all dates.
Click this to display the payment data. For more information, see Viewing payment for refund, Viewing payment for collection, Viewing terms of payment, Authorizing payment, Processing payment, Statistics on authorized payment, and Statistics on processed payment.
Click this to exit.
