Creating and maintaining external rates per project per item per person and external rates per project per item

Introduction

You will see this screen by select selecting External at Show, and then clicking New in the Rates tab of a project maintenance screen. For more information, see Creating and maintaining projects - Rates tab and How-to: Managing internal and external rates of projects. At this screen, you can create the following:

Priority 1: External rates per project per item per person
Priority 2: External rate per project per item

Fields

Item code

Type or select a standard or an hour item to create an external rate per project per item per person or external rate per project per item involving this item. Once you select a standard item, Person is disabled. This is mandatory.

Person

Type or select a person to create an external rate per project per item per person involving this person. Once saved, this information cannot be edited.

Notes:

This is enabled only if you have selected an hour item at Item code.
Defining both item and person will create an external rate per project item per person.
Defining an item only will create an external rate per project per item.

Continue

Click this to continue creating the rate. For more information, see Creating and maintaining item discounts in sales orders and sales invoices price list.

Cancel

Click this to cancel creating the rate and exit.
