PU 505 | 504 | 503 (Globe+) and 424 (Globe): Flexibility in defining CtgyPurp tag for employees and suppliers
In Exact Globe+, the SEPA XML includes the CtgyPurp tag which is used for the banks to define the transaction type.
In this product update, the default value for the CtgyPurp tag is based on the following transactions:
- For purchase transactions linked to an employee, the CtgyPurp tag will not be included in the XML output.
- For payroll transactions linked to an employee, the CtgyPurp tag will contain the default value SALA.
- For group payments that include payroll and other transactions, such as purchase, you will see the Category Purpose field in the SEPA screen. This screen allows you to select the value for the CtgyPurp tag. By default, the Category Purpose field is blank. If the field is blank, the CtgyPurp tag will not be displayed in the XML. If SALA is selected, the CtgyPurp tag will display SALA in the SEPA payment file.

Note: The SEPA screen will not be displayed if you select the Don’t ask again checkbox. The value selected previously in the Category Purpose field will be used. If you want to reset the checkbox, you can go to the Confirmations section in the user settings.
