Generating serial or batch item transactions reports

Introduction

The serial or batch item transactions report contains information on serial or batch items transactions, such as serial or batch number description, inflow and outflow quantity, reserved quantity, available quantity, serial or batch number status and lot number. This report is useful to track the movement and current statuses of serial or batch items.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is based on product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I generate the serial or batch transactions report?

Define the relevant criteria, and then click Display.

Fields

Serial/batch numbers section

Warehouse, to

Type or select a warehouse code or range of warehouse codes to display the transactions report for serial or batch numbers that are linked to the selected warehouse(s). Alternatively, select the All check box to display the transactions report for all warehouses.

Item group, to

Type or select the item group code or range of item group codes to display the the transactions report for serial or batch numbers that are linked to the selected item group(s). Alternatively, select the All check box to display the transactions report for all item groups.

Item, to

Type or select an item code or range of item codes to display the transactions report for serial or batch numbers that are linked to the selected item(s). Alternatively, select the All check box to display the transactions report for all items.

Serial/batch numbers, to

Type or select a serial or batch number or range of serial or batch numbers to display the transactions report for the selected serial or batch number(s). Alternatively, select the All check box to display the transactions report for all serial or batch numbers.

Lot number, to

Type or select a lot number or range of lot numbers to display the transactions report for serial or batch numbers of items with the selected lot number(s). Alternatively, select the All check box to display the transactions report for all lot numbers.

Status

Select Active or Blocked to display the transactions report for items with serial or batch numbers that are active or blocked respectively. Alternatively, select All to display the transactions report for items with serial or batch numbers of any status.

General section

Transaction date, to

Type or select a date or range of dates to display the transactions report for the selected transaction dates. Alternatively, select the All check box to display the transactions report for all transaction dates.

Start date, to

Type or select the start date or range of start dates to display the transactions report for serial or batch numbers that are valid from the selected start date. Alternatively, select the All check box to display the transactions report for serial or batch numbers with all start dates.

Note: Typing or selecting only the start date in the left box will display the report for serial or batch numbers with start dates that are on or after the selected date. However, typing or selecting the start date in the right box will display the report for serial or batch numbers with start dates that are on or before the selected date.

End date, to

Type or select the end date or a range of end dates to display the transactions report with serial or batch numbers that are no longer valid on or after the selected end date. Alternatively, select the All check box to display the transactions report for serial or batch numbers with all end dates.

Note: Typing or selecting only the end date in the left box will display the report for serial or batch numbers with end dates on or after the selected date. However typing or selecting the end date in the right box will display the report for serial or batch numbers with end dates on or before the selected date.

Display section

Itemize per warehouse

Select this check box to display the transactions report for serial or batch numbers with warehouse information.
