From November 2024 onwards, the bank import statements for Citibank Poland based on MT940 format is updated. This is to improve the presentation of the data in the reports and bank statements, and to ensure the data is consistent and structured. With the latest changes, the matching rate of bank statements during the import process will improve.
Changes to MT940 format
Citibank PL updated the MT940 format for tag 86 with the following structured keywords:

/BO/ (credit) and /BI/ (debit) – Beneficiary account number
-
/BO1/ (credit) and /BN/ (debit) – Beneficiary name
The new structured keywords will be used during matching Run 7.
