This screen is displayed when you click the Add or Edit icon at the Rights tab at the cash instrument maintenance screen (go to Cash flow/Cash instrument/Maintain, and then click New or select a cash instrument and click Edit). When creating a new cash instrument, it is mandatory to type the instrument number/bank account in the Basics tab before you click the Add icon.
This is the instrument number/bank account defined in the Basics tab. This is pre-filled and cannot be modified here.
Type or select the resource ID. The resource is allowed to access this cash instrument. For more information, see Creating and maintaining entries for people.
This is the action to be performed by the resource. This is pre-filled.
Type the amount for the resource to authorize. This is the authorization limit.
Type the restricted amount for the resource to authorize. This is used to define the amount up to which the resource can authorize, only if another resource that has the proper authorization limit also authorizes. Therefore, for amounts between Amount and Amount: Restricted, the resource is allowed to authorize as first approver but a second approver is required.
Note: The currency of the cash instrument will be displayed as the currency for Amount and Amount: Restricted. This is the currency that you define at the Basics tab.
Type or select the date for the approver to authorize payments. By default, the current date is displayed.
Type or select the end date for the approver to authorize payments. Any payment made after the end date cannot be authorized by the approver.
Click this to save the user rights for the cash instrument.
Click this to create new user rights for the cash instrument.
Click this to exit.
