In this screen you can configure a new or existing group for document types.
Go to Documents/Setup/Maintenance/Document: Types, and then click New: Group to create a new document type group or click the hyperlink of a document type group to open an existing document type group. A sample document type group hyperlink is shown in the following figure:
To create or modify a document type groups, function right 361 - Maintain Document Type is required. By default, users with the Documents administrator role have this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click this to save the configuration of the document type group.
Click this to save the configuration of the document type group and create another new document type group. This button is available only when creating a new document type group.
Click this to delete the document type group. You will not be able to delete a document type group if there are document types under this group. This button is only available while modifying an existing user-defined document type group. The button is not available for system-defined document type groups.
Click this to exit.
Type the text for the name of the group for document types. You can type up to 60 characters. This information is mandatory.
