  Reason Codes

Reason codes are used in the Swap function, Reject contract function, Standstill lines and in several Rental reports. Every reason code represents a business reason for swapping equipment, rejecting a contract, creating a Standstill, etc.

The different reason codes are stored as serial numbers on a single item. This item needs to be filled in the Rental settings.

• Create an item 'ReasonCodes' in Logistics
• Select the serial attribute
• Create as many reason codes as needed, for example:
  • EQF - Equipment Failure
  • EXP - Too expensive
  • RAIN - Raining day
  • etc.
