Overview of Countries

Introduction

You can view all the countries in the system by using the overview of countries. Define one or more of the following criteria to display the overview of countries.

System/Setup/References/Countries

Roles & rights

All users can view the list of the countries.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Show

Click this to display the overview based on the defined criteria.

Refresh

Click this to refresh the overview based on the last defined criteria. You can only see this button after you have clicked Show.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Continent

Select the continent to display the countries in the selected continent. For more information, see Overview of Continents/Regions.

Region

Select the region to display the countries in the selected region. For more information, see Overview of Continents/Regions.

Active

Select Yes to display only the active countries or No to display only the non-active countries. You have to activate a country in order to use the country in the system. To display both the active and non-active countries in the overview, leave the field blank.

Note: To activate a country, select the check box under the Active column in the overview. function right 93 – Maintain countries is required to activate a country. Users with HR role have this function right.
