This page allows you to search for invoice requests that are ready for invoicing. Invoicing is a process of generating sales invoices from the invoice requests. To generate sales invoices, you must first search for the relevant invoice requests, and then click Invoicing to start generating the sales invoices (with unique invoice numbers) for the selected invoice requests. Each invoice request represents one invoice line and they are grouped together based on specific criteria to generate the sales invoices. The invoice requests are grouped according to the following criteria:
For more information about grouping by debtor contact person, see Logistics Settings.
After the invoice is generated, you will see the sales invoice search page where you can search for the generated sales invoices. The generated invoice has a sales invoice number and the requests are the detail lines of the invoice. You can also search for the sales invoice that has been generated at Logistics/Reports/Invoice/Invoices. In the invoice search page, you can use the account number to search for the new sales invoice that has been generated (the largest number in the series of sales invoice numbers). For more information on viewing sales invoices, see Searching for Purchase Orders, Sales Orders or Sales Invoices.
