Go to Finance ➔ VAT ➔ Statistics ➔ Invoice list and click Display.
You can generate an invoice list, which contains an overview of all the invoices (whether with value-added tax or without value-added tax) with their base amount and the value-added tax (VAT) amount for a certain period. An invoice list provides a way for the auditors to audit the financial VAT records.
Note: It is possible that not all columns are displayed. You can add or delete columns as required. For detailed instructions on how to customize displayed columns, see Inserting and deleting columns.
Select Date or Reporting date to display the invoice list by date or reporting date.
Type or select the date or reporting date range to display invoices with the selected date range. Select the All check box to display invoices with any date or reporting date. The reporting date is the date when the transaction is recorded in the financial reporting, and may not be the actual transaction date. Depending on your selection, you will see Date or Reporting date.
Note: Typing or selecting only the start date will display invoices that are recorded on and after the selected date. Typing or selecting only the end date will display invoices that are recorded on or before the selected date.
Select this check box to display the purchase and/or sales invoice(s).
Note: The check boxes are displayed only if you have clicked . The Purchase invoice or Sales invoice check box will be available depending on the selection at Type. If you have selected the type as Supplier, Purchase invoice will be available. However, if you have selected Customer, Sales invoice will be available. Both check boxes will be available if you have selected All.
Select this check box to display the purchase or sales credit note(s).
Note: The check boxes are displayed only if you have clicked .The Purchase credit note or Sales credit note check box will be available depending on the selection at Type. If you have selected the type as Supplier, Purchase credit note will be available. However, if you have selected Customer, Sales credit note will be available. Both check boxes will be available if you have selected All.
Select this check box to display transactions other than purchase invoices, sales invoices, purchase credit notes, and/or sales credit notes. These include cash receipt or payment difference transactions.
Select Supplier or Customer to display the relevant invoice list. To view the invoice list for the suppliers and customers, select All. By default, the option selected at Type at Finance ➔ VAT ➔ Statistics ➔ Invoice list will be displayed.
Select the one of the options available to display the invoices that match the selected option:
Select this check box if you want to display invoices with the VAT amount.
The total number of rows of invoices are displayed below the invoice list together with the following information:
Click this to display the invoice list based on the defined criteria.
Click this to generate the overview in the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Click this to view the documents attached to the selected invoice or attach a new document to the selected invoice. For more information, see Overview of attached documents.
Note: This button is enabled only if the selected invoice has an attachment.
Click this to assign the VAT or taxes of the selected invoice to a different period.
Note: This button is enabled only if you have selected an invoice. For cash-based VAT invoices, only matched cash-based VAT invoices can be assigned to return periods. You will see the message "Only matched cash-based invoices will be assigned with the return period" once the system detected there are cash-based VAT invoices.
Click this to view the VAT/taxes details of the selected invoice.
Note: This button is enabled only if you have selected an invoice.
Click this to view or edit the information of the customer or supplier who is linked to the selected invoice. For more information, see Creating and maintaining accounts receivables.
Click this to view the transaction card of the customer or supplier who is linked to the selected invoice. For more information of the transaction card of the customer, see Viewing debtor cards.
Click this to view the financial transactions of the selected invoice.
Click this to exit.
