Introduction

On this page, you can view a list of payroll scales. Payroll scales are defined with different wage scales and are used for payroll calculation. You can also modify or create payroll scales on this page.

Roles and rights

To view the list of payroll scales, function right 508 – Maintain payroll components is required. Users with the Administrator or HR role have this function right.

Notes:

• For more details on function rights, go to System à Setup à Security à Function rights.
• For more details on roles, go to System à Setup à Security à Roles.

How do I view the list of payroll scales?

1. On the Payroll: Setup page under the References section, click Scale.

How do I create payroll scales?

1. On the Payroll: Setup page under the References section, click Scale.
2. Click New. Fill in the required information.
3. Click Save. To save this entry and create another payroll scale immediately, click Save + New instead.

Keep in mind: All fields with the "!" icon are mandatory.

How do I modify the descriptions of the payroll scales?

1. On the Payroll: Setup page under the References section, click Scale.
2. Click the hyperlink under the Code column.
3. Click Edit.
4. Type a new description at Description.
5. Click Save.
