It is possible to modify the function rights available in the system to suit your company needs. For instance, you may want to change the target associated to a specific function rights if you want to modify the accessibility of the target based on the function rights given to users. Apart from this, you can also delete the function rights which you do not want to use in the system.
To modify or delete function rights, function right 187 - Maintain roles in function ID’s is required. Users with the Administrator or HR role have this function right.

This displays the code of the selected function right. You cannot modify the code.
Type the description of the function right.
Select the module that you want to link the function right to. There are 16 available options:
Type the remarks related to the function right.
Type the target name for the function right. The target refers to the application which can be used with this function right.
This section displays all the roles that have been linked to the selected function right. To link a new role to the function right, click New. For more information, see Linking function rights to roles.
