Introduction
This page allows you to view the details of the creditor
codes for divisions for Central Master Data Management (CMDM).
This page is displayed when you click the hyperlink in the Divisions
section of an account card belonging to a creditor. Note that this section is
available only if you have selected the Accounts check box at Modules
? System
? Setup
? Central Master Data Management
? Settings.
Roles and rights
- To create or modify creditor codes for main creditors, function right 313 – Maintain division
creditor – main creditor is required. Users with the F&A staff role have this function right.
- To link the creditor code to another account, function right 464 – Allows to change link of
creditor number to account is required. Users with the F&A staff role have this function right.
- To delete non-main creditors with transactions, function right 477 – Allows to delete non-main debtors with financial transactions is required. Users with the F&A staff role have this function right.
- To create or modify creditor codes, function right 565 – Maintain division
creditor is required. Users with the Controller, F&A staff, or Supplier manager role have this function right.

The information in this document is applicable to product update 258 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here
will not be applicable.
How do I view creditor codes?
- On the Accounts: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select an account under the Account name column.
- Click a hyperlink in the Divisions section.
How do I create creditor codes?
- On the Accounts: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select an account under the Account name column.
- Click a hyperlink in the Divisions section.
- Click New.
- Define the fields.
- Click Save.
Keep in mind: All felds with the “!” icon are mandatory.
How do I edit creditor codes?
- On the Accounts: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select an account under the Account name column.
- Select a division under the Divisions section.
- Click Edit, and make the required changes.
- Click Save.
How do I copy details of creditor codes?
- On the Accounts: Search page, define the search criteria.
- Click Show.
- Select an account under the Account name column.
- Click a hyperlink in the Divisions section.
- Click Copy.
- Define the fields.
- Click Save.
Buttons
Close
Click this to exit.
Edit
Click this to modify the details of the creditor code.
Note: This is not available if you do not have the appropriate right. For more information, see the Roles and rights section.
New
Click this to create a creditor code. For more information see Creating and modifying creditor codes for Central Master Data Management (CMDM).

Copy
Click this to copy the selected creditor code. This button will copy all the values from the account division to a new account division except for the Division, Main, Shipping via, Selection code, Extra description, Payment condition, Pricelist, VAT code, and VAT services fields.
Icon
Customise
Click
at the title bar to customize the fields or sections. You can add or remove existing criteria based on your preferences by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes. Click Save to save the settings, Reset to clear the selections, or Close to exit without saving.
Fields
Account section
Division
This displays the code and name the division. You can click the hyperlink to view more details of the division. For more information, see
Viewing division cards.
Main
This indicates the main creditor for the account.
Creditor code
This displays the creditor code.
Name
This displays the name of the selected account.
Type
This displays the type of account.
Status
This displays the status of the account.
Main contact
The name of the main contact is displayed. You can click the hyperlink to
view more details of the contact. For more information, see
Viewing contact cards.
Representative
The name and cost center of the person in charge of the account are
displayed. You can click the hyperlink to view more details of the person.
Show notes upon entry
If this check box is selected, notes will be displayed in the accounts
payable maintenance screen in Exact Globe

Purchase section
Shipping via
This displays the mode of shipment for thecreditor.
Price list
This displays the price list for the creditor. This is useful when you have an agreement with the creditor on discounts and bulk buys.
Discount (%)
This displays the discount percentage that will be given to the creditor.
Confirm prices
This indicates whether the account is required to confirm the prices in the orders.
Acknowledge order
This indicates whether the account is required to acknowledge orders.
Incoterm
This displays the incoterm for the account.
Incoterm code
This displays the code of the incoterm for the account.
Selection code
This displays the selection code for the account. The selection code is an analytical value that can be stored with a sales order, sales invoice, or purchase order.
Mailbox
This displays the mailbox address for the account.
INTRASTAT section
INTRASTAT system
This displays the INTRASTAT system such as the city of loading or unloading, shipping method, transportation, transshipment, and others for the creditor.
Transaction A code
This displays the transaction code for the INTRASTAT for the creditor code.
Transport
This displays the mode of transport that will be used to deliver the items to the creditor.
INTRASTAT delivery methods
This displays delivery method for the INTRASTAT for the creditor.
City of loading/unloading
This displays the city of loading/unloading for the INTRASTAT item for the creditor.
INTRASTAT area
This displays the area for the INTRASTAT for the creditor.
Statistical factor
This displays the statistical factor for the INTRASTAT for the creditor.
Transaction B code
This displays the transaction code for the INTRASTAT for the creditor.
Country of assembly
This displays the country where the INTRASTAT item is assembled for the creditor.
Note: This field is available only for European Union countries.
Transshipment
This displays the transshipment for the INTRASTAT item for the creditor.
Financial section
Currency
This displays the currency used for the creditor.
Creditor account
This displays the creditor account for the creditor.
Automatic matching
This indicates whether the system will automatically match the unmatched statements to the general ledger account (based on the Offset account defined) when you import the bank statements.
Offset account
This displays the expense general ledger account that is used as an offset account when you post transactions.
Extra description
This displays the extra description for thecreditor code.
Credit line
This displays the credit limit for the creditor.
Payment condition
This displays the payment term for the creditor.
Bank account
This displays the bank account of the creditor. You can also click Add to add a bank account for the creditor. For more information, see Creating and modifying bank accounts for Central Master Data Management (CMDM).
Payee name
This displays the payee name for this creditor if there is a specific name to be used for check issuance.
VAT section
VAT liability
This displays the VAT liability method of the creditor. The
liability methods available include:
- Exempted – This is displayed if the creditor is exempted from paying VAT.
- Liable to pay VAT – This is displayed if the creditor is liable to pay for VAT.
- Not liable to pay VAT – This is displayed if the creditor is not liable to pay for VAT.
VAT number
This displays the VAT number for the creditor.
Check date
This displays the check date for the VAT for the creditor.
VAT code
This displays the VAT code for the creditor.
Tax exempted
This indicates if the creditor is exempted from paying taxes.
Tax exemption number
This displays the tax exemption number, if any.
INTRASTAT standard codes
This displays the standard code for the INTRASTAT. The code
can be Federal ID or Social security no..
Tax ID
This displays the ID of the tax.
Fiscal code
This displays the fiscal code of the tax.
