Overview of XML Documentation
Introduction
You can obtain an overview of the XML schema documentation to see the global elements and attributes as well as the local elements and attributes of the XML schema. The XML schema reference is useful to understand the rules and constraints of the elements and attributes of the system adhering to the various data types. Based on the reference, you will know what are the valid values you can enter in different data fields.

Roles & rights
All users can view the XML schema documentation.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Description

For each element and attribute, there is a hyperlink. Click this and you will see the details of the element or the attribute. For an element, you will see details including the syntax, data type, parents, attributes, and children of the element and for an attribute, you will see details such as the syntax, data type, parents, and the comments related to the attribute.
