Overview of Contract Analysis

Overview of Suppliers

Introduction

This page provides an analysis report for the created contracts. You can view it by defining one or more of the following criteria.

Menu path

  • Customers/Report/Contracts/Analysis
  • Assets/Reports/Service contracts/Analysis

Roles & rights

All users can view the contract analysis report.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Show

Click this to display the overview based on the defined criteria.

Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.

Refresh

Click this to update the overview according to the defined criteria.

Reset

Click this to clear the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Criteria section

Report

Select the report to be displayed. Select any of the following:

  • Contracts: Analysis - Item By Division – Select this option to display the contracts by division based on the item selected in the search criteria.
  • Contracts: Analysis - Item Division – Select this option to display the contracts by division based on the assortment selected in the search criteria.
  • Contracts: Analysis - Division By Assortment – Select this option to display the contracts of a specific division sorted by assortment.
  • Contracts: Analysis - Top 10 Highest Sales Items – Select this option to display the top 10 highest sales items and the total number of contracts that contain the sales items.
  • Contracts: Analysis - Top 10 Highest Service Items – Select this option to display the top 10 highest service items and the total number of contracts that contain the service items.
  • Contracts: Analysis - Top 10 Lowest Sales Items – Select this option to display the top 10 lowest sales items and the total number of contracts that contain the sales items.
  • Contracts: Analysis - Top 10 Lowest Service Items – Select this option to display the top 10 lowest service items and the total number of contracts that contain the service items.

Assortment

Type or select the assortment to display the contracts with the selected assortment. You can leave the box blank to display contracts with any assortment. For more information on assortments, see Overview of Assortments.

Note: This is available only if Contracts: By Division, Top 10 Highest Sales Items, Top 10 Highest Service Items, Top 10 Lowest Sales Items, or Top 10 Lowest Service Items is selected at Report.

Account: Type

Select the account type of the contracts to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to display contracts with any account type. For more information on the account types, see Creating and Modifying Accounts.

Year

Select the year to display the contracts with the highest or lowest top 10 sales or service items created during the selected year.

Note: This is available only if Top 10 Highest Sales Items, Top 10 Highest Service Items, Top 10 Lowest Sales Items, or Top 10 Lowest Service Items is selected at Report.

Show

Select the type of contracts to be displayed. Select any of the following:

  • Active Contracts – Select this to display the contracts with an active status.
  • Contracts: Final Date > Today – Select this to display the contracts that have a final date which is later than the current date.
  • Contracts: Final Date <= Today – Select this to display the contracts that have a final date which is before or equal to the current date.
  • Valid Contracts – Select this to display the contracts that have been validated.
  • Invalid Contracts – Select this to display the contracts that have not been validated.

You can also leave the box blank to search for contracts with any type.

Item

Type or select the item to display the contracts with the selected item. For more information on how to create items, see Creating Items.

Note: This is available only if Contracts: Item By Division is selected at Report.

Division

Type or select the division of the contracts to be displayed. You can leave the box blank to display contracts from any division. For more information on divisions, see Overview of Divisions.

Note: This is available only if Contracts: Division By Assortment is selected at Report.

View

Select one of the following options to display the corresponding information:

  • Contract — Select this option to display the report based on the start date of the contract header as stated in the Status section of the corresponding contract card. For more information, see Viewing Contract Cards. By default, this option is selected.
  • Quantity — Select this option to display the report based on the start date of the contract lines, as listed in the Contract details tab of the corresponding contract card.
