This screen allows you to rename and customize request type actions and status. Go to Workflow/Setup/Requests/Request types, and then click New or open an existing request type. Click the Flow tab. Next, click to rename or edit the retype type action and status. When you place your mouse pointer on the icon next to the Step action term field under the respective section headers, a message “Edit label for this step action and translate it into other languages” is displayed. When you place your mouse pointer on the icon next to the Step status term field under the respective section headers, a message “Edit label for this step status and translate it into other languages” is displayed.
To define the flow of a request type, function right 5 – Create request types, and edit request types without responsible or function right 232 – Edit all request types is required. By default, users with the General manager and HR roles have the first function right while the latter is reserved for users with the Administrator role.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

This section defines the request type action and the term identification.
Type a new action or status term. The Term ID description is available only when you have saved the Terming of existing request step action and Terming of existing request step status information. Created terms can be customized at System/Setup/Terms/Search. For more information, see Customizing Terms.
This section displays the language and allows you to translate the request type action and status for the individual country.
Type the renamed action or status term to be translated to other language.
Note: By default, the language shown will be based on the language defined at Preferences or System/Setup/Settings - General/Preferences.
