Maintain: Close/reopen periods

Year
Enter the year in which you want to close/reopen the periods.
Period
Enter the period in which you intend to close/reopen.
Journals: All
If you enable this setting, all the available journals will be shown on the "Matrix for data entry" section. If you click the 'Save' button, all these journals will be closed for the above-defined period.
Matrix for data entry
Click the 'Add' button to close the added journal for the above-defined period or the 'Delete' button to reopen the deleted journal for the above-defined period.
Journal
Enter the journal number that you want to close for the defined period. Once you click the 'Save' button, no entry can be made into this journal for the above-defined period.
! To reopen the journal, delete the particular journal and click 'Save'.
