How-to: Installing Prerequisites for Synergy Office Integration (SOI) (Product updates 254 to Product update 260)

This document lists down the download links for the prerequisites needed to install Synergy Office Integration (SOI) version 5.0.363.0 and above (applicable from Exact Synergy Enterprise product update 254 to product update 260). You will need to complete the installation of the missing prerequisites before installing SOI.

1. Follow the instructions in How-to: Installing Synergy Office Integration via MSI to begin installing SOI.
2. If you system does not have all the necessary prerequisites for SOI installed, you will see the following screen:
   
   
   
3. Click Download to run or save Exact.SOI.Prerequisite.Installer.exe.
4. Click Run to begin the installation process or Save to save the file.
5. If you clicked Save, locate the file in the specified directory and double click to begin installation. You will see the following screen:
   
   
   
6. Click Install to begin installing the necessary prerequisite(s).
   
7. If you want to install the prerequisites manually, download the following:
   
   Windows Installer 3.1 or above Download
   
   Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5 Download
   
   Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (version 4.0 runtime) Download
   
   
8. After you have installed all the requirements, you will need to re-start the installation of SOI. For more information on how to download SOI, see How-to: Installing Synergy Office Integration.
