Introduction
With the [MAIN_CLASS_BAL_DATE (main_class_cd;co;VWeekFrom;VWeekTo;balance_type;value)]
function you can retrieve the
balance sheet amount
within a selected date range of a classification or a
series of classifications (category 1).
Explanation of
the fields

Company
Select the administration from which you want to retrieve
the Exact data. If you select 'Default', the data will be taken from the default
company. If you
select a company, the data from the selected company will be
displayed.
The advantage of not
selecting a company is that the same report can be used for each company. You
only need to change the default company to get the right data.
Function
Select the
function you want to use. In this case
'MAIN_CLASS_BAL_DATE'.
Classifications
Select the
classification (category 1) for which you want to retrieve the
balance sheet amount. Multiple classifications can be selected
as follows: 001:002. In this case the balance of classifications 001 through
002 will be displayed.
From date
Select a date as of which you want the balance sheet amount to be retrieved.
Transactions prior to this date will not be included.
To date
Select a
date through which you want the balance sheet amount to be retrieved.
Transactions after this date will not be included.
Unprocessed
You can retrieve information
after entry. This means that information from unprocessed entries will also be
displayed (unprocessed= 1; processed=
0< /SPAN>
Value
Select which value you want to
have displayed in the worksheet. You have the following options:
- Debit
(1): the total of the amounts debited
- Credit
(2): the total of the amounts credited
- Balance
(3): the balance of the debit total and the credit total
- Positive
(4): same as the balance, but only positive values are displayed
- Negative
(5): same as the balance, but only negative values are displayed (as positive
values)
- Quantity
(6): The quantity (as entered) is included
Range
If you select 'Date' here, entries for which the entry date
falls within the range will be included in the result. If you select 'Reporting
date' here, entries for which the reporting date falls within the range will be
included in the result.
Include closing
entries
Here you can
indicate if you also want to include closing entries in the
function.
Example
MAIN_CLASS_BAL_DATE("001:005";17;"21/6/2001";"21/6/2002";1;3;1;1)
The balance after entry in the date range 21 June 2001 through 21 June
2002, including closing entries for classifications 001 through 005 will be
displayed.
