InterConnect Enterprise Configuration: Defining Document Categories
InterConnect creates quotes and stores them in the Exact Synergy Enterprise document module. You can create document templates that are used to generate quotes, orders, and historical orders. During InterConnect configuration, you should define the document groups for the templates and documents. You can select any existing document group from Exact Synergy Enterprise, but it is recommended that you define new document groups for each required document type. You will use these documents on the OE Settings page in InterConnect Setup.
- To create document groups in Exact Synergy Enterprise navigate to: Documents > Setup > Maintenance section.

- Click the Document: Types link.

- Click the New: Group button.

- Enter a Description (name) for the group.

The following table provides suggested document group titles and the kind of document that will be stored in the document group.
