Excel Add-in: explanation function PROJ_LEDGER

Introduction

With the PROJ_LEDGER function you can include transactions per project general ledger account in your worksheet.

Explanation of the fields

Company
Select the administration from which you want to retrieve the Exact data. If you select 'Default', the data will be taken from the default company. If you select a company, the data from the selected company will be displayed.

The advantage of not selecting a company is that the same report can be used for each company. You only need to change the default company to get the right data.

Function
Select the function you want to use. In this case 'PROJ_LEDGER'.

Project code
Select the project you want to use.

Account
Select the project general ledger account you want to use.

Budget scenario
Select a budget scenario if desired.

From date - to date
Enter a date range for which you want to retrieve information.

Display
Select the values you want to retrieve. You have the following options:

• Actual amount (1)
• Budget amount (2)
• Actual quantity (3)
• Budget quantity (4)

Example

PROJ_LEDGER("ONTWPR2003","  3950","GR2001","1/1/2002","4/9/2002",1,5)
The function results in the actual amount of the transactions of general ledger account "3950" with budget scenario "GR2001" from 1 January 2002 through 9 April 2002 for project code "ONTWPR2003" of company 5.
